Our November Brother of the Month is brother Andrew Lane ‘22. Andrew (known by most in the chapter as “Lane”) joined our chapter his freshman year, and he has been an integral member of our chapter ever since. Lane cares deeply about both the present and future state of our fraternity, as he has been very involved on our executive board as our Magister and Risk Manager. Regardless of his position, he has been an all-around leader within our chapter, and we all agree that we are better for it.

Andrew is not only beloved by our chapter for his efforts in the upkeep of the bond we all share. He is a calming presence, and he is always ready to support his brothers regardless of what they need. He is a great source of advice, and there isn’t a circumstance where his presence isn’t appreciated. All in all, Andrew is a great friend, and we are lucky to call him our brother. We are grateful for these last couple years, and we are well on our way to having a great last one before he graduates in the Spring.

Andrew contributes a lot to our chapter, and we appreciate it even more knowing the depth of his responsibilities outside of our fraternity. Beyond balancing a rigorous academic load, he is on Penn’s Club Hockey Team where he starts as a defenseman. With this, Lane has been a great recruiter for the team, and we’ve benefited from the members he has helped to join our chapter. Further, with his academic ability, Andrew is always ready to help his brothers in their STEM courses.

Cheers, Lane! While we are sad to see you go, we are excited for your bright future! In Hoc!
